WHAT IS IT?
Mr. Black is the original cold press coffee liqueur made right here in Australia. It is a bitter,intense spirit and coffee creation not intended for the weak of mind or faint of heart. This is a dark blend of pure Australian grain spirit and three specialty coffees made from single origin arabica beans from Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia and Brazil, all chosen for their aroma, flavour and finish. The spirit is cold infused, cold pressed and unfiltered to ensure the flavours and aromas of the liqueur retain the character and provenance of the coffee beans. There's overwhelming fresh espresso on the aroma, a bitter balanced body with a fine citrus edge and a toffee/marmalade finish. It's so good it took out gold at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in London in 2012.
The bottle itself is a piece of artwork in itself - drink it down to reveal the design on the back, the genius of local artist Dale Bigeni.

WHO'S BEHIND IT?
Mr Black was created by Tom Baker and Phillip Moore, the latter being the master distiller at Distillery Botanica located on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It took 9 months and over 240 trials to create the liqueur as we know it today. The beans are sourced via a local coffee roaster and once roasted, comes straight to the distillery where the cold drip method is used extract the best of the beans. This exceptional spirit is ground and cold-pressed by hand in tiny batches of 300.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?
We currently deliver within Australia only. If however, you wish to purchase a gift for someone living in Australia, please feel free to do so. All you have to do is nominate their delivery address in the checkout stages but please make sure you enter your billing address as being your overseas address to which your card is registered to. We suggest you include a note with the order to let us know it is a gift otherwise there may be a delay in the processing of your order whilst we verify your details for fraud purposes.
HOW LONG WILL MY DELIVERY TAKE TO ARRIVE?
Orders are normally despatched within 48 hours of cleared payment being made.
Current estimates for standard delivery times are as follows:
NSW - Between 3-5 working days
ACT/QLD/VIC - Between 3-7 working days
SA/WA/TAS - Between 5-10 working days
NT - Between 7-14 working days
The likelihood is that your order will arrive sooner than the above estimates however, this can vary from location to location and time of the year. There may also be certain periods around special occasions such as Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day etc where you may experience some delays in your orders being received due to the volumes of parcels that are being processed and delivered by our shipping partners. If you need your order to arrive by a specific time or urgently (including same day for Sydney metro), please contact us before you place your order so we can work with you to accommodate any requests.
WHO DO YOU SHIP WITH?
We currently use the services of Fastway, Couriers Please and Australia Post. Depending on your delivery location, we will ascertain which of the delivery providers are best placed to ship your order in a timely and cost efficient way.
WHEN ARE DELIVERIES MADE? WHAT IF I'M NOT HOME?
All deliveries are made during business hours on the weekdays. We therefore ask that you nominate an address at which someone over 18 is available to sign for the parcel. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers at this time. If a parcel has to be re-delivered or delivered to a different address, you will be fully responsible for any re-delivery charges that may be levied by the delivery provider.
CAN I RETURN OR CANCEL AN ORDER?
You can cancel an order if it hasn't been despatched. Please contact us straightaway if that is the case. We do not offer returns unless the wrong item has been shipped to you or it is delivered damaged. Please ensure you take photos of your parcel upon delivery to forward to us so that we can process any refund or send out a replacement item appropriately.
